Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair from routine servicing to complete component overhaul of vehicle systems. Electronic fault diagnosis using the latest equipment now forms part of every working day at SEAT retailers.

Technicians are also vital to customer care. The service offered by the workshop is often a major factor for customers when choosing a new car.

You need to have a keen interest in the motor vehicle industry and you need to be fully committed to completing the course in order to qualify as a highly skilled Technician.

Qualifications You Can Achieve

  • NVQ Level 2 progressing to NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance and Repair of Light Vehicles
  • IMI Technical Certificate
  • Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate

Parts Advisor

SEAT Parts personnel are essential team members. That’s because the Parts Department plays a vital role in selling parts and accessories, as well as providing assistance to both the Service and Vehicle Sales Departments.

As an Apprentice Parts Advisor, you will be required to combine IT skills, an outgoing personality, technical knowledge and customer service skills.

Qualifications to Achieve

  • NVQ Level 2 progressing to NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Parts Operations
  • Level 2 Key and Core Skills Certificates
  • IMI Level 2 Technical Certificate and IMI Level 3 Diploma
  • Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate

Customer Service Advisor

The Customer Service Advisor programme has a duration of 12 months for an Apprenticeship (Level 2), with an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) achieved in a further 12 months.

Apprentices learn in a realistic highly equipped environment and customer interaction areas at our specialist training academy in Milton Keynes where we have created an industry standard learning environment.

A Vocational Learning Advisor will be your direct point of contact and support the learner throughout the Apprenticeship. The programme is delivered in block release. 14 weeks training over two years, delivered in one week blocks:

Year 1 – 7 x 1 week blocks - one week distance training
Year 2 - 7 x 1 week blocks

Upon successful completion your Apprentice will receive:

  • VCQ Level 2 progressing to VCQ Level 3 in Customer Service
  • Level 2 Functional and Core Skills Certificates
  • IMI Level 2 Technical Certificate and IMI Level 3 Diploma
  • Apprenticeship/Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate
  • ATA Accreditation
  • Certified Service Advisor
